VOLUNTEERS AND DONORS NEEDED

The Macomb County Warming Center seeks, along with partner churches, to provide a safe, warm place to spend the night, providing simple but nourishing evening and morning meals to those who would otherwise have no shelter.  They are not rotating among churches this year, but help is still needed to provide food for their guests.  Grace’s week is February 14-21.  Volunteers are needed to make food in their own homes and deliver to the church. We will make soups, stews and sandwiches. Volunteers will also be needed to transport the food from the church to the shelter each day between 11 am and 1 pm. Donations requested include individual servings of cereal, breakfast bars, chips, snacks, lunch items, as well as laundry pods and dryer sheets.  Monetary donations and gift cards would also be appreciated.  To donate or volunteer, call

586-465-4573 or email gracemtclemens@yahoo.com.
